Job title: Commerce Executive
Wavemaker Commerce is the dedicated commerce specialism within Wavemaker UK. We are a team of experts, working with clients to develop holistic commerce strategies across marketplaces, d2c and social commerce. Our work touches all parts of our client organisation and is firmly entrenched in the Wavemaker product team.
The UK practice has long been seen as a leader amongst the markets delivering varied and scaled activation and consulting projects for clients such as Danone, Perrigo, Campari, and Henkel. As such our UK practice is increasingly viewed as the template for how we scale globally.
We are looking to expand the team due to recent new client wins and expanding scopes on existing clients and we are looking for an ecommerce exec to join the growing team, help drive growth for our clients and continue to develop our commerce services.
Core responsibilities:
End to end management of Amazon sponsored Ads and retail media campaigns across clients such as Schwarzkopf, Live, Evergreen, Dr Oetker, Perrigo and INEOS, covering:
Account Set-Up
- Customer analysis and insight generation
- Implementing Wavemaker commerce best practice account structure for activation
- Identifying the right sponsored ad strategies in response to client briefs
- Financial set up and booking
Optimisation
- Analysis of campaign, advert, and audience performance to inform optimisations.
- Communicating with key partners to identify macro-trends
- Spotting opportunities to adjust targeting strategies
- Working with partners to adjust display strategies via weekly performance meetings
Analysis
- Compiling weekly performance reports including key insights and optimisations.
- Deeper analysis on end of campaign reporting or standalone projects.
- Competitor analysis
Monitoring
- Daily budget and performance checks to ensure campaign is delivering as planned
- Responsible for reconciling campaign delivery figures on the finance system
Person Specification:
- 1+ years Experience in Amazon ads, Retail Media or PPC is beneficial but not mandatory
- Passion for ecommerce
- Understanding of the role ecommerce plays in the broader media and adverting landscape
- Collaborative nature and team player
- Positive, can-do attitude
- A desire to learn as well as to share knowledge amongst the team
- Comfortable analysing data and numbers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good attention to detail
