Who are we?
Pachamama is a knitwear wholesaler with a growing digital retail business located in beautiful Greenwich, London. We are a friendly, small business that has been designing and selling woollen goods for over 30 years. Most of our products are manufactured in Nepal from 100% natural wool and our designs are unique and expressive. We are proud members of BAFTS (The British Association for Fair Trade Shops & Suppliers) and have charity partnerships with WWF and Net4kids.
We are looking for talented individuals to join our friendly team to help expand our physical operations and grow our digital business.
Responsibilities
The ecommerce manager role is a pivotal role in this exciting time of digital growth within Pachamama. We are looking for an ecommerce manager to lead, develop and grow our ETSY channel and to ensure commercial opportunities are maximised. You will be responsible for day-to-day channel performance and monitoring, identifying trends, foreseeing potential issues and viable solutions in relation to trading performance, making appropriate recommendations, and developing action plans as necessary.
The most important of these are listed below:
eCommerce:
- Responsible for day to day running of ETSY channel
- Maintaining and enhancing the online channel by updating, improving, and optimizing our product pages and product listings.
- Managing paid advertising and SEO to optimise conversions
- Researching keywords, competitors, and products trends
- Working with other departments on stock management, logistics and commercial solutions to meet customer needs and maximising opportunity to sell
- Working closely with the relevant people to resolve any technical issues with the online channels as quickly as possible
Desired Skills:
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in managing ecommerce platforms such as ETSY
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and people skills.
- Interested in the world of ecommerce, SEO and/or digital marketing
- Very organized with a keen eye for detail
- A team player
- Enthusiastic, a quick learner and self-motivated
- Willingness to help in other areas of the business if needed
