WHAT TO EXPECT
Power Train Production Operations is responsible for the manufacture of the JLR Propulsion systems to support the current and next generation of JLR vehicles. Delivering a premium product, the EMC operations team have established, developed and continue to grow the facility to ensure a first-class service to our customer base.
The Data Integrity department manages part number changes and inventory accuracy across both current vehicle (running change) and new model year introduction points and is responsible for verifying physical and system inventory for financial reporting.
The role includes the monitoring of the quality control systems that support the transactional disciplines for the movement of material with the EMC.- Policing of SAP and the transactions performed across the EMC operation ensuring compliance and conformity.
- Review of all ARIS maps including creation of ARIS maps where required
- The creation of robust Desk Top Procedures (DTP’s)
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Maintain departmental records and filing systems as supporting evidence for auditors.- Support part changes and model year run out programs in order to ensure a smooth transition and minimise obsolescence.
- ARIS map development
- Creation of Robust DTP’s
- Support and work with the team to achieve its targets.
Carry out ad hoc requests as required.
- Reconcile system stocks on SAP within strict FM guidelines.
- Investigate causes of ‘Out of Tolerance’ adjustments and inform relevant areas of issues, as required.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Good understanding of Logistics processes including material flows, receiving and storage
- Data Analysis identifying trends in performance for investigation.
- An understanding of Financial accounting and reporting
- Ability to learn quickly whilst being agile and flexible and respond positively to change.
- I.T. skills (All Microsoft) as well as knowledge of SAP system.
- Able to set and achieve your own targets and also work with the team to achieve departmental targets.
- Good communication and able to give clear direction up to and including senior management.
