Job description
Calling all residential support workers, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our team at our warm and caring EBD home based in Dagenham. We are looking for 8 x day shift and 4x night shift support workers passionate and caring people with experience of dealing with challenging behaviours with young people. The home provides a safe haven for our young people aged between 8 and 18 where we can help them achieve the best outcomes possible. Preferably with Level 3 or level 4 in children and young people.
We are looking for people who really want to make a difference in our young people's lives, and who will implement the excellent practices we have put in place as standard in our homes. No two days are the same in residential care, which is what makes this position so unique.
Must be willing to work a shift pattern which will include days/ waking nights and weekends
We like our staff to progress and we offer comprehensive induction programme (including shadow shifts), world class on going training and we will give you the opportunity to gain top level qualifications at our expense.

Salary: £10.50-£12.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dagenham, RM9 6AS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Residential Childcare: 1 year (required)
- Support Environment: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- NVQ Level 3/4 children and young people (preferred)
