Band 8a Eating Disorders Lead- CBT Therapist/Clinical/Counselling Psychologist
Permanent Part-Time Post (22.5 hours/ 3 days a week)
We are looking for a new 8a Eating Disorders Lead with experience of working with people with mild to moderate eating disorders.
The Eating Disorders Project (EDP) is a small sub-team of an IAPT service that was set up 7 years ago. It was unique and pioneering in its time in delivering psychological interventions for mild to moderate eating disorders in primary care. The successful candidate will oversee the clinical delivery of our Eating Disorders Project (EDP).
Tower Hamlets Talking Therapies is a highly respected IAPT service with excellent development opportunities. The post holder will be part of a very dynamic team and will work alongside therapists trained in a range of therapies including systemic and couple therapies, EMDR, CBT, Mindfulness, DIT, psychodynamic and integrative therapies and a well- established PWP team. Due to the diverse population in Tower Hamlets, there is a unique opportunity to work with clients from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds and get involved in our active community outreach work.
The post will be a permanent part-time post (22.5 hours/3 days a week) and the post holder will have experience of working clinically with people with mild to moderate eating disorders.
The Eating Disorders project (EDP) delivers psychological interventions for mild to moderate eating disorders in primary care, as part of an IAPT service. The post holder will lead on overseeing the EDP by managing the EDP waiting list; providing clinical supervision and line management to staff and recruitment of EDP staff.
The post holder will work as part of the THTT 8a management team and will also provide manage and duty cover.
