Job description

A well-respected day nursery & pre-school setting in Oldbury is looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join their hard working, experienced team, providing 1:1 support to a lovely child who just needs some additional support to stay safe. The role requires the successful practitioner to work term time only, Monday to Wednesday, 10:30am-3:30pm. The position is available to start after February half-term to the Summer holidays.

Job Description

  • The successful Early Years Practitioner will:
  • Show a passion for working with children in the Early Years and understand the importance of meeting every child’s individual needs and providing the child in their care with the best early start in life
  • Have a sound knowledge of the EYFS
  • Contribute to a safe, clean, inspiring and inclusive environment
  • Work effectively as part of a dedicated and professional team of staff

Requirements

  • The successful Early Years Practitioner must have:
  • A minimum of Level 2 in Child Care and Education or the equivalent
  • An enhanced DBS (update service preferred) and Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and have a legal right to work in the UK
  • Acceptable reference checks from previous employers or educational institutions
  • Short listed candidates will have Teacher Regulation Agency checks & an online search undertaken, as part of Ambassadors Resourcing Safer Recruitment checks
