Early Years Lead

£10.90 per hour / £109 per day

Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm

Up to 50 hours a week

School Holiday only role

Oxford Active Ltd are recruiting for a Early Years Lead to work at our Blackheath Prepatory School, 4 St Germans Pl, Blackheath, London SE3 0NJ camp site. This is a school holiday role that runs through Easter, May, Summer and October half term.

We are recruiting for an Early Years Lead to work at our Active Camps site with children age 3-6 year old children. The Camp runs from 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday however you may be required to work a Saturday or Sunday before the holidays to help set the site up with your team.

You could be earning £545 per week by being a fantastic children's fun educator looking after a group of 8 children.

What We Need From You:

  • At least 1 years’ experience or working / volunteering with children in a school, play or another relevant environment
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, particularly with children
  • Ideally Paediatric First Aid training
  • Level 3 childcare or above qualification
  • All staff need to pass strict safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS

Your Day at Active Camps:

  • Working with a group of eight children age 3-6 years old
  • Taking part in the delivery of safe, creative, appropriate play opportunities in a fun and caring environment
  • Working as part of a team to devise and plan new activities that will engage and challenge children attending the club
  • Being responsible for tidying rooms and looking after play equipment each day
  • Working within all company policies and procedures, with particular reference to safeguarding responsibilities for the children in our care
  • Administer first aid if appropriate
