Job description
Company description
Lil Ballers is an early years football programme run by Renfrewshire-based Young Football Academy, designed for children aged 18 months – 6 years old. Our fun sessions help children to learn through play in a positive, non-competitive environment, and to fall in love with having a ball at their feet. Our classes are split into three age-appropriate groups, and run throughout the year.
Our aim is to prepare them for a lifetime of healthy choices, whether they choose to continue with football or not. But ultimately we want them to laugh, smile and have fun!
All of our coaches are SFA qualified, first aid trained and PVG certified.
Job description
Are you passionate about coaching football? Do you love working with children of all ages and abilities?
At Lil Ballers we absolutely love to coach young children the basics of football; we work with kids from 18 months to 6 years old, and we strongly believe that football skills can be taught and developed from an early stage. Our fun classes are designed to do exactly that whilst keeping the kids engaged, involved and keen to learn.
We are looking to bring in energetic coaches, with a huge passion for working with young children. We’re especially keen to talk to people with early years experience (18 months to 3 years). Having loads of experience in football coaching is not necessary, but a knowledge of (and passion for) the game, as well as huge reserves of enthusiasm (and patience!) will see you right.
Our classes currently run on Sunday afternoons at Bishopton Scout Hall (less than 10 minutes from Glasgow Airport), covering all three age groups:
18mths-3yrs / 3-4yrs / 4-6yrs
We have been running for around 18 months, and have waiting lists on every class. There is definitely scope for the right people to come on board and be part of Young Football Academy as it grows, but equally if you're just looking for a part-time coaching gig, that's fine too!
If this sounds like something you'd like to get involved with, get in touch.
