Job description
This is a part time, fixed term position required for 22 hours per week term time only until 31st March 2024.
We are seeking a motivated individual who will work as part of a team of Early Years Assistants, Childcare Development Officers, Early Years Advisors and Early Years Lead Officers for ALN to provide support and guidance to the Early Years Preschool Settings and Childminders to assist in development and sustainability of childcare provision within Pembrokeshire.
In this role you will work as part of a team under the direction of Advisers, to develop strategies which can be used in settings to raise children’s’ achievements and narrow the gap in attainment. You will be expected to provide high quality support to the childcare sector through assisting in improving childcare environments for learning and development. Provide support on matters related to the curriculum and provision. Plus provide training and professional development opportunities to childcare providers and to direct them to other appropriate training and development opportunities.
