Job title: Early Careers Practitioner - Education Services

Salary: Up to £41,868 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing the development and delivery of our education and skills programmes and events at a range of key stages (from Key Stage 1 – Key Stage 5 and NEETS) including coordinating and training STEM ambassadors to deliver programmes including Work Experience, Lego Robotics, Engineering Fairy Tales and STEAM Clubs
- Effective engagement with, and management of, key internal and external stakeholders to co-ordinate and align delivery against Education Services Strategy
- Acting as a ‘Subject Matter Expert’ within Education Services, providing proactive advice, guidance and support to all relevant operational areas and provider
- Lead on the effective reporting of service performance, producing regular reports and KPI updates
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Experience of working with young people (within the 4-25 age range) in community, charity or educational setting
- Qualifications or experience in STEM programmes
- Proven stakeholder management
- Experience of managing projects
- Exceptional presentation skills
Desirable:
- Coaching, training, or teaching experience

The Shared Services team:
As an Early Careers Practitioner within Education Services, you will be managing the delivery of the education & skills activity across the Submarines business unit, in alignment with Early Careers & Skills process and practices across the UK operation.
As part of the Shared Services team, you’ll be at the heart of this endeavour – working closely with our air, maritime, land and cyber and intelligence businesses to support our customers around the world.
As part of the Early Careers Team, you will manage and deliver quality early careers and skills programmes for our UK businesses, which will give you the opportunity to support the selection of the future talent here at BAE Systems.
