We are a multi-disciplinary team of evaluation specialists and economists, with expertise in social, economic and environmental policy.

Our work covers all major areas of public policy and our clients include all UK central Government Departments, the Directorates-General of the European Commission and international institutions such as the World Bank. Analysts will have the opportunity to work on complex evaluations across a diverse set of policy areas, spanning education; cohesion and security; employment, welfare and skills; trade, innovation and enterprise; transport and infrastructure; health; government and society. Our current analysts have been involved in evaluations of high-profile public programmes, including studies that aim to determine:
  • The effectiveness of the UK’s COVID-19 vaccine rollout
  • The benefits of investments in superfast broadband infrastructure
  • How the NHS should roll out screening programmes for lung cancer
  • The effects of business R&D grants on developing technologies to support the reopening of the economy after COVID-19 lockdowns
  • How the Government can accelerate the development of the whole house retrofit market to support the transition to a zero-carbon economy
  • The contribution of a global vaccination strategy to reaching “zero-dose” children and missed communities
  • How to measure the impact of the Online Safety Bill
  • The feasibility of implementing a common charger across all electronic devices in the EU
  • The impact of funding support for charities and voluntary organisations during the COVID-19 pandemic
