We’re seeking a future team member for the role of counsel to join our People Team. This role is located in Manchester and is hybrid.
The Role:
The EMEA Early Career Programme & Apprenticeship – Senior Associate will support the development and delivery of apprenticeship, internship and early career programmes for the EMEA markets, supporting the EMEA Early Careers PM and working in partnership with the EMEA Campus Recruitment team and Early Career PM team in the US.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting our UK apprenticeship strategy to ensure that we fully maximize Apprenticeship opportunities across the enterprise. Assist in executing key deliverables including onboarding, placement process, performance management, training and development, off-boarding and leadership communication
- Work directly with apprentices, training providers and stakeholders across all levels of the enterprise to establish a fully coordinated and proactive approach that is a differentiator for BNY Mellon
- Plan and deliver an annual programme of events supporting the EMEA Early Career inititaives
- Maintaining awareness of ESFA funding guidance in order to maintain funding compliance. Provide guidance to relevant departments on funding and compliance as required
- Responsible for updating the Apprenticeship levy database, ensuring all governance responsibilities are met
- Execute early career EMEA program strategy in conjunction with Global team including onboarding, placement process, performance management, training and development, etc
- Develop and coach entry level talent to meet their career goals, aligning them to organizational objectives
Experience:
- University Recruiting, Talent Management or other HR related experience
- Experience in apprenticeship administration and/or programme experience
- Experience in supporting projects across groups; ability to collaborate with stakeholders with different needs and interests
- Experience developing high-performing employees early in their careers; strong coaching and career-advising skills
