EAL Coordinator and Teacher of English as an additional language
We are looking to looking to appoint an inspiring Coordinator and Teacher of EAL to start September 2023, working in our successful and popular department.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a school, which prides itself on the high calibre of staff who make up our warm, friendly and diverse community.
The main role of the EAL Department is helping to ensure a significant, noticeable and measurable increase in the English language proficiency of students for whom English is not a first language. Equipping students with the linguistic skills they require is a fundamental role, as a large number of students in the school use English as a second- or additional language.
To be considered, you will be an ambitious, talented and inspiring teacher, passionate about EAL. You will have excellent subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and motivate our ambitious and hardworking students.
This is a full-time, permanent post, suitable for an experienced teacher or a highly motivated newly qualified teacher wishing to join a team of specialists who ensure a high standard of teaching, learning and achievement.
