An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and approachable E-Rostering Administrator to join the Health Board's busy and dynamic E-Rostering Team.
The E-Rostering team are responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Health Board's electronic rostering system.
The post holder will play a role in supporting the E-rostering team by reporting/trouble-shooting and being the first point of contact for staff and managers. This will be achieved by dealing with a busy central mailbox.
The E-Rostering Administrator role will include providing day-to-day administrative support to an established team and requires someone who has strong IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, together with effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), a can-do attitude and the confidence to support staff and managers to resolve their queries. The role is fast-paced and varied and requires a passion for problem-solving plus the ability to prioritise own workload.
Previous experience working with E-rostering systems is desirable but not essential.
To maintain an electronic rostering system.
To answer queries and manage the generic inbox and emails.
Provide a help desk service to E-rostering users.
To facilitate, train, coach and support users in the implementation of E-Rostering.
To deliver specialist training on E-Rostering.
To assist in the implementation and development of E-Rostering to ensure that it meets the needs of the organisation across all clinical wards and departments within the Health Board.
Working on own initiative assist the E-Rostering Advisors in building the required rosters.
To maintain accurate data entry and update existing data in the E-Roster System and ensure it is processed in accordance with policies & Procedures.
To provide a helpdesk service to E-Rostering users investigating queries and providing assistance and advice.
To develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external contacts including team colleagues, Workforce, IT, Payroll, managers, establishing an effective communication strategy for all stakeholders to ensure there is engagement of staff at all
levels.
Hywel Dda University Health Board is the planner and provider of NHS healthcare services for people in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and its bordering counties. - 48 general practices (four of which are managed practices), 47 dental practices (including three orthodontic), 99 community pharmacies, 44 general ophthalmic practices (43 providing Eye Health Examination Wales and 34 low vision services) and 17 domiciliary only providers and 11 health centres;
- Numerous locations providing mental health and learning disabilities services;
- Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales.
