You would be part of the busy customer service team for The Diamond Store, who are one of the UK’s largest online jewellers and winners of “UK Online Jeweller Of The Year”.
Your job would be to help / advise any one of our existing 235,000 customers via email, livechat and telephone regarding any problems they may have with their existing orders.
Or advise and discuss a jewellery purchase with any new customers.
What we require.
Someone who enjoys dealing with the public and solving issues and problems as they arise. You must be able to work as part of a team but also work on your own initiative.
Your daily duties would include:
- Communicating with customers regarding delays and changes to their orders.
- Dealing with order questions and queries via livechat, email and telephone.
- Processing refunds and exchanges.
- Responding to feedback on Trustpilot and other platforms.
- You will also be trained on admin duties such as filing claims with DPD, Royal Mail & Fedex.
Requirements For The Application
Previous livechat customer service experience is required and previous retail jewellery experience is a bonus!
You must have a confident telephone manner and be able to write clear and concise customer focused emails in English.
Being able to easily learn new systems and online technologies is important and any knowledge of the following would be of huge benefit.
Zendesk livechat system / Hubspot / Outlook / Respond.io
All systems and guides and knowledge of jewellery will be given to the successful applicant.
Working from Home
Although working from home, you will be part of a team of 12 customer service people and in constant communication with your team members throughout the day via chat and video chat meetings.
You will be required to ensure that you have a comfortable and quiet home working environment with a great internet connection and are able to take and make telephone calls without distraction.
Job Types: November to February 2022 - could lead to permanent
Hours 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday and some Sundays.
Salary: £10 per hour plus overtime
