Job description

As an E-Commerce Product Assistant you will be responsible for the merchandising of our Eataly.co.uk website at a product and category level, as well as the processing of online orders and collaborating with online partners. In addition, you will be performing daily analytics across core categories that will help us reach our sales targets. This role will be on-site and based in our store in Liverpool Street.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING...

  • Creating accurate product listings including item descriptions and price
  • Efficiently dealing with orders placed through the website including selection and packaging of purchased items, booking couriers and customers deliveries
  • Adding and removing products from our website and Amazon account
  • responsible for the day-to-day operation of our website
  • Organization & monitoring of stock
  • Dealing with customer enquiries via email and phone
  • All on site merchandising, implementation, and on-going management of the site merchandising for multiple product categories
  • Producing weekly and monthly reporting & analysis on site performance, in-depth category and product performance and highlighting opportunities and underperformance along with actions to deliver results
  • Competitor research and suggestion of possible site improvements

WE’RE LOOKING FOR…

  • 1-3 years’ work experience in a web trading or digital merchandising team.
  • Excellent attention to detail, and the ability to ensure products, brand image and messaging is consistent across multiple touchpoints.
  • IT proficient, including advanced Excel skills & proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to analyse and report information.
  • Good understanding of current online retail market.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in product photography and photo editing is advantageous.
