Job description
We are looking for an E – Commerce Merchandise Administrator.
A hands on, can do attitude is an absolute must, someone who is happy to get involved where help is required.
Your main responsibilities will be to maintain the catalogue of products and offers on the company website and add products to back end system as required.
Requirements:
Work with the marketing manager to ensure all product ranges are available to our customer, with the right product descriptions, images and body copy to promote the product and drive add-to-basket.
- Load products onto website accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Manage the product catalogue on company website.
- Work with manufacturers to source launch product image assets.
- Work with marketing manager on product content & images.
- Work with marketing manager to assess garments to write accurate style and fit comments for the product description.
- Responsibility for maintaining online product pricing & plans ensuring that price changes are implemented in an accurate & timely manner.
- Work with marketing manager on all aspects of the e-shop including sales and marketing campaigns.
Maintain product, category and tagging updates required to support the websites SEO requirements.
- Regular sanity checking of the catalogue re pricing and stock management.
- Focused on optimising customer experience to drive digital conversion. Adaptable and committed to maximising online shop potential.
- Assist in picking, packing and posting online orders.
- Unpack new deliveries as required.
- Add products to back end system on delivery as required.
- Highlight and resolve website issues with marketing manager and web agency.

Education & Experience:
- Strong housekeeping and organisational skills.
- Minimum 1 year’s experience preferred.
- Web/digital merchandising expertise in a retail environment preferred.
- Experience of online merchandising, including the impact it has on trading.
- Experience of managing e-commerce platforms.
- Good MS Excel skills, including working with importing & exporting product data.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 32 per week
Salary: £17,500.00-£19,500.00 per year
