E-Commerce Junior Assistant London, England

Lit Online Ltd.
Full Time London, England 5 - 12.5 GBP HOURLY Today
Job description

We're a small expanding company looking for someone to shoulder the picking / packing & dispatch side of our e-commerce business in Central London! We currently sell about 50-150 small items a day, and need assistance to get our orders out in time.

About the role:
We're very small at the moment, so expect the job to be relaxed but constant. The only pressure on us is to ensure timely delivery - we don't deal with customers face to face.

We're based in an office apartment conversion at the moment - very comfortable to work from and easy to access from Oxford Circus Tube Station.

For the first few weeks, you'll be required to shoulder many of the easier & more repetitive tasks, whilst you learn about our operation and expand your understanding of our business. Working from lists, you'll be required to pick & pack items correctly, keeping watch of stock levels and quality issues. We require runs to nearby courier services (Royal Mail / EVRi), inventory checks, removal of waste throughout the day and more.

Once you're confident to get on without our help, you'll be free to manage your time & workflow ensuring everything only that what needs to go is dispatched on time. You'll also have the opportunity to involve yourself in the other parts of our business and take on more responsibility / earn more if you demonstrate proficiency!

Who we want:
We're looking for someone who can commit to reliably to fulfilling this role. We don't expect total dedication, so this role is ideal for those who have other things happening in their lives. Those seeking work for the first time, students & those with multiple work commitments are welcome to apply!
