Job description

About Ruggable:

Ruggable is a Los Angeles-based, venture-backed, rapidly growing e-commerce startup that is disrupting the $7B rug industry and revolutionizing the market for residential rugs. Our patented 2-Piece Rug System allows you to remove the top layer of your rug and wash it in your home washing machine, offering an affordable, stylish and convenient solution for young families, pet owners, and busy individuals. We're a small, entrepreneurial team with big ambitions. We have a strong brand, established traction, and amazing advisors fueling our steady growth. This is an opportunity to get in at the ground floor and solve for complex challenges, while charting your own career.

Job Summary:

Ruggable is looking for a E-Commerce Associate to join our growing UK team and be a key part of our Europe expansion. This role will focus primarily on visual merchandising and the customer journey to elevate the overall shopping experience on all Ruggable websites. This role will be a part of the broader E-commerce and Marketing team and will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth performance of our website. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated candidate looking for training, career progression and to be part of a collaborative, high performing team!

What You'll Do:

  • Act as a gatekeeper for managing visual merchandising content for the Ruggable website, in support of promotions, product launches, and new site initiatives
  • Own creation, maintenance, and optimizations of onsite content (new collection creation for promotions and launches, product tagging, ensuring optimal product mix, etc.)
  • Execute A/B tests to continuously improve our website and gain valuable performance insights
  • Use analytics and reporting tools to perform analyses on merchandising KPIs, provide recommendations, and execute plans to improve performance across the website and the app
  • Collaborate with SEO specialists to optimize website content for improved search engine rankings and visibility
  • Assist with Shopify management (e.g. product uploads) on an ad-hoc basis
  • Support other ad-hoc strategic projects for the e-commerce team as needed
  • Remain up to date on industry standards and best practices for product merchandising

What You'll Need to Have:

  • Strong comfort and understanding of Excel & Google Sheets
  • High quality standards with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to problem-solve collaboratively with cross-functional team members
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

Preferred:

  • Experience in a DTC start-up environment
  • Experience in Germany, France, Netherlands
  • Fluency in German and/or French

Compensation:
