We are looking for a passionate e-Commerce assistant to join our growing business in order to assist the success of our online sales.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for the business and a passion for driving the success of the company’s online sales, the candidate will be able to use their already existing knowledge in this industry to drive the business forward.
The candidate will play a vital role working alongside our sales department to sell our products through various channels.
The candidate will work closely with the e-Commerce manager to assist them in their day to day tasks. This will involve admin tasks, processing orders, picking orders from the warehouse, dispatching orders, stock control, customer service, product listing and more. Training will be provided for these tasks, though the ideal candidate must be a fast learner with the ability to work on several tasks at once. Prior experience in these areas is preferred.

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 Per Annum - regular performance meetings will be conducted with the opportunity for the candidate to eventually exceed this range if performance impresses.
The candidate will begin at £25,000 and after a 4 month probation period, the salary will be agreed within this range.
Role- Full time including some weekends
Responsibilities
The Ecommerce Assistant will have the responsibility of assisting the running of the company’s online selling platforms alongside the Ecommerce manager. This will include the use of the company’s software in order to list products to a high standard to drive effective sales across each platform. The assistant will complete a range of administrative tasks given to them from the Ecommerce manager such as returned orders and parcel claims. The role will also include: communicating with customers regarding delivery and product queries, monitoring stock accordingly, assisting in the fulfilment of customer orders by picking orders from the warehouse correctly and accurately and providing tracking and dispatch information to customers. In some circumstances, you will assist the warehouse team in ensuring timely dispatch of goods, this will include helping out with packing customer orders accurately to be collected by the courier the same day. The e-Commerce assistant may also be asked to assist certain admin tasks for the wholesale company known as Winning Post such as product quotations etc.
Qualifications
GCSE'S or equivalent of grade C and above in all core subjects is obligatory.
Experience & Skills
· Experience in a similar Ecommerce role with direct experience using both eBay and Amazon would be preferred.
· Experience with managing, designing and selling on a company or personal website will be closely considered for this role as our website will require close attention from the candidate.
· Experience in customer service, either online or face to face of at least one year will also be considered.
· Must be computer literate and possess an impressive working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Excellent spelling and polite and professional communication for this role is essential.
· Must be able to work accurately under pressure and be able to work closely with others as part of a team.
· Be an organised, punctual individual with a keen attention to detail.
· Have a proactive approach to problem solving and a positive attitude providing solutions.
· Have excellent communication, listening and organisation skills.
· Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
· Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
