Book Keeper and Financial Officer
Junior Edition is an ethical family run children's concept store. Over the past 7 years we have expanded significantly to become one of the UK's largest independent online retailers of ethically manufactured design led children's clothing, toys and homewares. In addition to our online store we also have a beautiful bricks and mortar store in the North Laine of Brighton.
We are excited to be offering the opportunity to take on a new pert time book keeper and financial officer to join our dynamic team. The position will be primarily based at our new purpose built Newhaven warehouse facility. The contract will be for 8-10 per week and can be either worked hour per week in either 1 full day or can be spread over several days.
Responsibilities:
- Review and process accounting logs using Dext software
- Perform accounting reconciliations using Xero software.
- Ensure information is complete, correct, and up to date to be submitted quarterly to accountant
- Conduct data analysis.
- Review and monitor invoices.
- Prepare and monitor cash flow.
Experience and Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have :
- AAT qualification in Book Keeping
- Experience of imports and exports
- Experience with Online payments
- Experience with Xero accountancy software
- Understanding of Dext software
- Understanding Stripe Paymants
- Understanding Transferwise (Wise)
