Salary: £11.07
Accommodation: Live-in accommodation available (Note: a small weekly utility levy applies.)

We are recruiting a Duty Supervisor to join our dedicated, friendly and professional team at our Inverness Youth Hostel, part of the Inverness Group.
This role is suitable for someone who wishes to progress their career in hospitality management, assisting in running a busy city hostel.
About the role:
Reporting to Inverness Group Manager, you will:
- Provide professional, efficient and effective day-to-day hostel management.
- Deliver high level of quality service and standard with the guest facility provision being welcoming, clean, comfortable, secure, safe, accessible and compliant, and maintained
- Enhances guest experience and exceed their expectations, including dealing with guests feedback and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Take all reasonable steps to ensure the health and safety and security of the guests, employees, volunteers and visitor at all times
- Assist the Group Manager and Duty Manager in implementing strategic and operational plans, development priorities, statutory compliance, risk assessments, policies and procedures to achieve Hostelling Scotland’s charitable aims and objectives
- With guidance from the Group Manager and Duty Manager, assist in the marketing, promotion and development of the hostel to maximise the potential annual accommodation, food, beverage and other hostel sales income, thus safeguarding the financial viability of the hostel.
- Actively and positively foster and maintain good local community relations and work in partnership with affiliated and community organisations to promote Hostelling Scotland and its Charitable objectives.
- Maintains the highest standards of uniform, personal presentation and hygiene protocols in accordance with Hostelling Scotland’s relevant Standing Operating Procedures.
