What you'll be doing
As the heart and soul of easyJet's Gatwick operation, the main responsibilities of this role include developing and delivering the daily flying program in conjunction with Gatwick Airport and easyJet's ICC (Integrated Control Centre).
The successful candidate will be the single and senior easyJet operations representative, accountable to customers and crew for the stability and success of the operation. They will also be responsible for improving easyJet's A-CDM performance, ensuring that flight plans are updated as needed to meet and exceed targets.
Additionally, they will own and continuously improve the daily operations plan for easyJet's Gatwick operation, working closely with ground handling partners, airport authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
They will also be the primary point of contact for all Gatwick-related communications and will be responsible for incorporating easyJet's priorities into all airport and third-party planning and decision-making processes.
Other responsibilities may include managing operational disruptions, ensuring compliance with safety and security regulations, and identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
What you'll bring to the team
The successful candidate for this role will have significant and demonstrable experience in an airline or airport operations environment, with a strong understanding of systems and regulatory knowledge. They should be able to rapidly conduct impact assessments and triage tasks in a fast-paced operational environment and have experience working in a lean environment using structured ways of problem-solving and operational improvement.
The candidate should also be able to translate complicated inputs into a clear and concise summary that can be easily understood by different audiences at all levels. In addition to these technical skills, the candidate should be able to lead through empowerment, inspiring others to act freely in pursuit of easyJet's aims and in the best interests of customers.
Finally, they must be able to obtain an airside ID pass, including meeting the requirements of a 5-year Criminal Record Check and providing references.
