WHAT’S THE JOB?
- The role requires you to be the acting Duty Manager whilst on shift and will require you cover the night managers on occasions.
- Manage the Reception operations including check in/out procedures in a way that ensures we exceed every guest’s expectations.
- Enhance levels of Guest satisfaction and monitor trends, with a focus on continuous improvement. Ensure all feedback at reception is resolved whilst ensuring all guests leave the reception desk satisfied.
- Manage, train and develop the Reception team
- Proactively drive sales revenues and promote hotel services through the front desk team.
- Ensure the appearance, standards and performance of the Front Office Team is at exceptional levels at all times with an emphasis on continuous training and teamwork
- Ensure Team Members have current knowledge of all room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, local area and other general product knowledge necessary to perform their duties
- Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics to inspire Team Members to exceed standards.
- Ensure all equipment at the front desk is maintained and in proper order for the team to deliver excellent customer service.
- Conduct regular training with the team
- Assist other departments, as necessary, and maintain good working relationships with hotel Team Members
