Pay Rate: £26,286.00
Contract Type: Permanent (full time)
Shift patterns: Monday - Friday, start time between 4am-7am
Location: Immingham - DN40 2LJ
DHL, an award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Drivers Mate to play a vital role in our daily distribution requirements. To succeed in this role, you should be familiar with all Manual Handling Procedures, with a committed attitude to Continuous Improvement, ultimately ensuring that all order deliveries are handled safely and in a timely manner.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices plus a high level of customer service, you will:
- Undertake the Manual Handling, Distribution and Coordination of timely deliveries of alcohol and beverages
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
- Working in a 2 person team with the delivery of alcohol/kegs to customers
- Manual handling is required for this role
- Supporting the Driver in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- Previous experience as a Drivers Mate, within a similar role highly advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload
