Job Title: Driver Supervisor
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Sobell House Hospice Bicester Warehouse
Salary: £23,497 per Annum
The role:
We’re recruiting a Supervisor to join our newly formed Van Services team, based at our Bicester warehouse.
This position is a hands-on role in the warehouse management team, assisting in the coordination of all vehicle-related services, such as stock generation through donation collection and internal stock movement throughout Oxfordshire and all Sobell House Hospice retail locations. The role will oversee managing the vehicle fleet and drivers, ensuring that the vehicle service team provide excellent customer service, maintain high driving and health and safety standards, and assist the charity in maximising income opportunities.
About us:
Sobell House is a hospice based on the Churchill Hospital site and is part of the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. It is jointly funded by the NHS and Sobell House Hospice Charity. We offer specialist palliative care to those facing life threatening illness, death and bereavement in Oxfordshire. This encompasses physical, psychological, social and spiritual care and includes supporting their families and those close to them. We care for around 3,000 patients and their families every year. The Charity contributes funding towards the care provided at Sobell House and also entirely funds the transport service, bereavement support, social work team and chaplaincy service.
