Job description
Job Title: Driver's Mate (Croydon)
Responsibilities:
- Assist the driver in loading and unloading goods from the vehicle.
- Ensure the safe and secure transportation of goods during deliveries.
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the driver.
- Help navigate and provide directions to the driver, if necessary.
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide friendly and professional service.
- Handle paperwork and documentation related to deliveries.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for completing paperwork.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of Croydon area and surrounding locations is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Driver's Mate is beneficial.
