- Managing a team Secondary Drivers, taking responsibility for all people management activities throughout the employee lifecycle of their team in order to drive improved performance building a positive and motivated team where everyone is engaged.
- To ensure all colleagues comply with Health & Safety and Food Safety legislation, policies and standards.
- Maintain compliance to transport operator’s and driver regulations (and Warburtons Distribution Manual) ensuring continued legal transport operation
- To manage a team of ‘Secondary Distribution Drivers’ to ensure agreed performance levels are achieved whilst ensuring high standards of customer service
- Previous experience as a Team Manager, or Key Operative with experience in managing teams, coaching and mentoring
- Tachograph and WTD regulations
- A good working knowledge of SAP, specifically ERP module
- Good working knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment and Food Safety Legislation / BRC standards
- Experience of Driver telematics systems
