What are we looking for
At Cosentino (www.cosentino.com) we are looking for a Driver - Warehouse Operative to join our Distribution Center located in Belfast. The Centers are an example of Cosentino’s total commitment to its clients, providing them with exclusive and high-quality service. The Centers combine the functions of (a) warehouse, (b) brand and product showroom, and (c) sales network.
What you will do
Driving:
- Drive company truck to distribute material to clients.
- Collect material or returns from client.
- Responsible for ensuring that the truck follows the required maintenance.
- Responsible for ensuring that the truck leaves with the necessary documentation wherever it is going.
Warehouse operative tasks:
- Preparing merchandise and other tasks in the warehouse.
- Signing for shipments upon receipt and verifying that the correct merchandise has been received.
- Thoroughly inspecting merchandise for any damages and discrepancies.
- Using forklifts, hand carts, or pallet jacks to load, unload, move, stack, and arrange merchandise accordingly.
What you need to succeed
Experience:
- At least 3 year in a similar role.
- High level of English
Background:
- Completed Second Level Education
Knowledge:
- Fundamentals (basic functions) on computing: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (crane, forklift, etc...).
- Licence to drive heavy trucks.
