Job description

WS Transportation are seeking HGV Drivers to be based out of our Wombourne Depot or surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

• Experience in transporting general haulage on Curtainsiders and using straps.
• Load and unload securely and efficiently, ensuring proper securing techniques are applied.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and road safety standards while operating the vehicle.

Requirements:

• Valid CPC & Tacho Card
• Proven experience as an HGV driver, preferably with Curtainsider experience.
• Excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to safety.
• Solid understanding of UK road regulations and traffic laws.
• Ability to read and interpret maps and use GPS navigation systems effectively.
• Strong organisational and time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

• HGV Class 1: 2 years (required)
• Curtainsider: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driver CPC (required)
