Responsible to: Branch Manager
The post holder is responsible for effective and efficient delivery of goods to customers, and suppliers in and around the area. To provide excellent customer service.
Hours - 7.30am - 4.30pm
Distribution Driver Main Responsibilities:
- Working in collaboration with the Branch team, Loading and unloading; delivering goods to our customers
- Providing excellent customer care
- Assisting with stock control duties.
- The applicant will need to be physically fit as there is alot of heavy lifting
- Assisting with customer facing service to locate and load goods for direct sales customer’s and call offs for large project order customers
- Any other reasonable duties commensurate with your skills and abilities.
- Must have a clean driving license and CPC to drive a 7.5T Truck
Relationships
- Work in collaboration with the Branch Manager, Warehouse Supervisor and sales and warehouse team for the overall success of the business
- Ownership and contribution to resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
