Job description
We are looking for a responsible and friendly Relief Delivery Driver to cover holidays and sickness. The role involves delivering medication to our care home customers throughout the Norfolk area. The Relief Delivery Driver is a key member of the pharmacy team and you will be reporting directly to the Pharmacy Manager.
You will represent the Company in a professional and efficient manner to ensure we provide an excellent service to our customers.
The Driver will:
Deliver Care Home medications as per the schedule provided by the Pharmacy Manager
Learn the routes to and from regular delivery locations and know alternative routes to be used if and when required
Safely prepare, load, and unload all delivery items
Ensure the delivery vehicle is operating to maximum efficiency, is suitably fuelled, and ensure any maintenance/services are schedule and carried out
Complete all logs and reports as requested in a time efficient manner
Follow all regulations and safety standards
In order to carry out these duties the employee should have the following:
A Full Cleaning Driving Licence, held for a minimum of 3 years’
Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £11.00 per hour
