Yard Operative / Driver / Labourer
This is a combined role with Tercon Ltd as a Yard Operative / Driver / Labourer at our head office in Avonmouth. We are a regional civil engineering and building contractor, run by people with experience, that strives to deliver an ever-improving service to every single project and customer.
We carry out turnkey main contract Civil Engineering and Commercial or Industrial Building projects as well as delivering specialist Groundwork & Plant packages on major projects for the UK’s biggest contractors.

What will I be doing?
As a Yard Operative / Driver / Labourer you will have one of the most important roles within the business. You will regularly be the first and last point of contact for customers visiting the branch, so you play a huge part in delivering a fantastic customer experience.
To support the team, you will be required to drive a van and 3.5t truck and make local and regional deliveries and collections from our sites or suppliers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for HQ yard and workshop management and must be reliable and willing. Attendance and maintenance of equipment will be a key part of this role together with use of a forklift.
When required, the role also involves occasional on-site construction labour.
Training can be provided for forklift and tow licence for the right candidate and some knowledge/experience of construction materials and products would be useful.
