Job description
A full-time permanent position for a Grounds Maintenance Operative, to start with immediate effect.
Will assist in general Ground’s maintenance as detailed below.
The job entails driving a ride on lawn mower, cutting grass, therefore grounds maintenance experience would be beneficial. You will also be required to carry out general grounds maintenance duties which range from cutting grass using pedestrian mowers and strimming to leaf collecting, landscaping works etc
Must be versatile and able to work on own initiative.
Hours of work are 7am - 4pm plus overtime. During the summer period you may be required to work Saturday mornings 7 – 11am.
You must hold a full UK driving licence and have your own transport to get to and from Routh, near Tickton, Beverley. From there you will go out on your own or in a small team, in a works vehicle with the triple on a trailer to various locations of work.
