The Role

What you will do

You will have high profile and impact as a key teaching professional ambassador for GTC Scotland externally. You will explore and engage with the teaching profession and partners, educate about our public policies and ensure we implement our standards and accreditation policies so that trust in the teaching profession and GTC Scotland is maintained.

What you will need to be successful

  • You have a SCQF level 9 teaching qualification aligning with registration with GTC Scotland. A post-graduate qualification in education (SCQF level 11) is desirable.
  • You have evidenced leadership experience in stakeholder engagement and educational partnership working
  • You have deep evidenced understanding of Scottish education and the impact on GTC Scotland registrants, partners and the public, as well as an understanding of effective engagement and the impact on the system.
  • You are an excellent communicator with strong presentation skills and influencing skills.
  • You have high quality written and analytical skills

Working Hours / Pattern
