Spiralway Ltd is a family run haulage company based in Chesterfield and we pride ourselves in providing family environment. We provide road haulage to customers all across the United Kingdom.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and flexible permanent Class 1 Driver who will mostly be driving class 2 vehicles and be willing to cover uk work and to join our company.
Duties will include - Working throughout the day to deliver various goods to sites across the UK, Chains, straps and sometimes sheeting will be required, hiab licence is a plus
Occasional night out may be available and when required pay will reflect this
Drivers should have FULL Class 1 licence, DIGI card and full drivers CPC with no more than 3 points on the licence. Recent relevant experience is essential and drivers must be reliable and hardworking.
Must have experience in straps chains and occasional sheeting job
Hiab/crane licence an advantage but training will be given.

- Ensuring your complete daily vehicle checks to make sure that the vehicle is roadworthy and safe.
- Following all company procedures, customer procedures and adhering to DVSA and Highway Codes.
- Comply with UK Driving and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Ensuring that you arrive at the job on time every-time.
- Complete all deliveries, PODs and collections as set-out by the controller.
- Ensuring that the vehicle is maintained; clean and tidy.
- Driver must be reliable and trustworthy; willing to have night out and must have excellent communication skills
- Weekend work is sometimes available.
