Drivers / Labourers - Mid and East Antrim Borough Council - Public Sector

• Location: Ballymena
• Rate of pay: £11.59 ph
• Hours of Work: 7.30 am to 3.30 pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30 am to 12.30 pm finish on a Friday
• Duration: Temporary ongoing week to week

Duties:

• Provide general driving support to Operational Services
• Ensure that all refuse is removed from household, industrial and commercial premises such as houses, shops, schools, business premises
• Responsible for any vehicle, equipment, passengers etc

Criteria:

• Valid Category B Driving Licence
• Any penalty points active on the driving licence must be declared along with the relevant code. These will then be assessed for relevance of the duties of the post.
• One years’ experience in general labouring in an outdoors environment
• Have an awareness of Health and Safety and COSHH Legislation
• Experience of working as part of a team
