Our key focus is to ensure we provide the highest quality of vehicles along with the best customer experience, with that in mind we are looking to recruit a driver with a basic understanding of vehicle maintenance to work in a specialist used car dealer based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, the job is a 42.5 hour a week role based on Monday to Friday and every other Saturday.
The ideal candidate will preferably have previous experience working within a used car dealer environment, test driving cars to establish any mechanical work that maybe required prior to customer collection.
As there will be driving required within this role, a Full UK license is a mandatory requirement, endorsed with no more than 6 penalty points for speeding offences.
Your Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Test driving all vehicles after arrival at the dealership to ascertain any mechanical works that maybe required, compiling a list of work and liaising with internal departments to advise accordingly.
You may also be required to deliver vehicles to customers at their home or business address after completion of the sales process, ensuring a smooth hand over and all documentation is signed correctly and key pints presented/highlighted to the customer.
