OUR BUSY TRANSPORT TEAM ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED LGV 1 AND 2 DRIVER'S TO JOIN THE TEAM. THIS DRIVING ROLE IS UNLIKE MANY OTHERS AS IT OFFERS DRIVERS A GOOD WORK/LIFE BALANCE IN A BEAUTIFUL PART OF THE COUNTRY.
Most of our drivers are New Milton based, we do also have a small number of other roles at our sites in Hurn, Bournemouth and Wareham.
Reporting to the Transport Planner in a team of over 50 drivers, the key accountabilities for the role will be to collect and deliver aggregates, sands, soils and site waste across the South, maintaining and driving an appointed vehicle and completing associated documentation. This role is for multiple vacancies across our Transport Division, with the ability to drive various Classes of Vehicle, and across multiple sites and both Commercial and Domestic properties.
Our driving roles are locally based with no over-night stopping and no late evenings, providing you with a great work/life balance for a driver.
We operate a variety of trucks and want our drivers to be multi-skilled and we provide the necessary training. Our fleet includes; 4 Wheel Tipper, 6 Wheel Tipper, 8 Wheel Tipper, Skip, RoRo, Concrete Mixer, Hiab, Tankers and Articulated vehicles.
Successful candidates will have:
- Up to date digital taco graph card
- In date DCPC Card
- Valid LGV Licence
As the face of the company, you will be driving our largest artic vehicles around the community, so we are looking for someone with a professional, reliable and can-do attitude to work. Due to changing demands.
Standard hours of work will be 07:00 – 17:00, Monday – Friday with Saturday morning's on a rota basis 07:00 – 12:00 paid at an overtime rate.
