Our Client, a leading car manufacturer are currently looking for a Parts Driver to join their business based out of their Croydon Dealership.
You will have the drive and determination to succeed in a demanding environment and be confident driving in all weathers.
About the role of Parts Driver
- Check all parts for delivery against advice note (invoices) ensuring that all goods are loaded, advise of any shortages, or damaged items ensuring that missing items are made up or that invoices are amended and shortages are highlighted
- Deliver all parts in line with a predetermined delivery schedules, collecting cash/cheque and PDQ payments from customers for all cash collection invoices and being responsible for its safekeeping
- Complete daily delivery sheets for each visit
- Accept from the customer all parts returns as per returns policy and pass all returned goods to goods inward and obtain signature of acceptance
- Ensure that all delivery addresses are accurate at time of delivery
- Encourage the sale of parts, accessories whenever possible, acting on opportunities to sell additional products/services and market current promotions
- Ensure that the company vehicle is maintained
- Understand the customer journey experience and be committed to delivering an unrivalled level of customer service and deliveries
To be a Parts Driver
- Experience as a Parts Driver desirable
- Confident driver
- Can handle a busy workload and deliver on promises
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be able to keep up
- Take great care and pride in your work
- Full UK Driving licence
