Kenect Recruitment is looking for a Driver to join our team!

Our client is an equipment rental specialist and they are looking for a class 2 driver to work out of their Sittingbourne depot from Monday the 3rd of July for one week

The hours of work will be 07:00 – 16:00 Monday to Friday, depending on the route it can be up to 12 drops, however, can be a little as 2-3

Responsibilities:

• Transporting goods between warehouses and businesses
• Ensuring your vehicle is clean, safe and your load is legally roadworthy.
• Daily safety checks and maintenance of the vehicle.
• Planning efficient routes to ensure all deliveries are on time
• Assisting with loading and unloading of your vehicle.
• Updating delivery paperwork, logbooks and tracking mileage.
• Complying with all relevant driving regulations and rules.
• Be aware of any road closers, diversions, and traffic jams.
• Reporting any delays and all accidents.

Qualifications:

• Class A or B CDL license (with Hazmat endorsement) with Hazmat endorsement required or ability to obtain CDL within 60 days of hire. Hazmat endorsement may be substituted for CDL in lieu of CDL in certain circumstances. Hazmat Driver's License may be substituted for class A or B CDL in certain circumstances.
• No more than two moving violations in the last three years. No more than two accidents in the last three years.
• No more than one accident in five-year span.

Salary: From £16.00 per hour
