Job description
We are looking for enthusiastic & conscientious Skip Driver for our Worsley based operation.
This role will include delivering and collecting skips around Greater Manchester.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times
- Adhering to all Tachograph, Driver and Road Regulations
- Ensuring vehicle is cleaned appropriately, and maintained in line with Company policy
- Completion of all legal and customer relevant paperwork
- Observe procedures and policies at all times
- Ensure the correct equipment and PPE, (personal protective equipment) is in good order and used at all times
- Ensure all delivery and on road issues are reported to the traffic office immediately
- Undertake all daily checks, ensuring defects are immediately reported and correct paperwork completed
Essential Criteria
- A valid clean HGV Class 2 licence (minor points considered)
- A digital tachograph card and full CPC
- Minimum 2 years’ experience driving Class 2, newly qualified drivers/lesser experienced drivers will be considered, however conditions will apply
- Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Good geographical knowledge
- Excellent customer service
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £550.00 per week
