Job description
Our Night Shift operation works on a four shift per week basis. Week one it's Monday to Thursday and week 2 it's Tuesday to Friday (this Friday shift is paid at a premium rate). This continues on a rotating pattern which means every other weekend is extra long.
Also there are regular opportunities to work a 5th shift which is paid at an overtime rate.
Hourly rate £12.29 p/h
Premium rate £13.92 p/h
Overtime rate £16.92 p/h
The Night Shift Tug Driver role will contribute to the transfer of inbound containers to our warehouses for devanning and restitution of the empty containers.
Operational Duties
- Driving Tug equipment;
- Adhering to agreed procedures;
- Driving in a safe manner;
- Maintaining a clean cab in the vehicle;
- Other duties warehouse duties for which you are able.
