Job description
We are a well-established Food Distribution Company based in Bury St Edmunds. Currently looking to recruit a full-time, permanent 7.5t Driver to join our friendly team. You will be assisted by a driver’s mate.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday: 7.30am start until finish (between 3:30pm & 5:30pm) average 45 hours per week
Salary: £28,000
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Multi-drop deliveries across East Anglia
- Manage your routing to ensure timed deliveries are achieved
- Deal with any customer issues in a polite and effective manner
- Safe driving and complying with driving legislations
- Daily checks of your vehicle to maintain legal compliance
Ideal Candidate:
- Be reliable, responsible and compliant in all duties
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Good time-management
- Be a team player
- Experience in multi drop deliveries would be advantageous
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card and CPC Certificate required
