Our Despatch department here at our Inverness site requires a full time & permanent driver/ despatch worker. This job role may involve heavy lifting, so an awareness of manual handling procedures is required. A good knowledge of the area would be an advantage, along with multi drop experience.
The job role is extremely varied requiring you to pick, pack and process customers’ orders, ensuring the correct documentation is issued to the customer. You will be dealing with internal as well as external customer enquiries over the telephone.
The successful candidate should be able to work under pressure, with the ability to prioritise and manage your workload and can communicate effectively with our customers by telephone, and has the ability to work well as part of a team or on their own initiative. You should have good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage your workload. A clean driving licence is essential, forklift experience is desirable.
