Missy Milieu’s is a newly opened all-day relaxed Bar & Bistro in Newcastle city centre, located directly between the historic Cathedral and Castle. We are growing rapidly week on week, gaining positive feedback, a strong social media presence, and a strong physical following and are currently looking to expand our team.
We are seeking friendly, fun, yet professional Cocktail Bartenders to make and prepare quality well-presented drinks ensuring customer’s experience is beyond their expectations.
The Package
- Loyalty Hourly wage review - On completion of probation period (We aim to complete your training within your first 3 months)
- Annual wage review - This will always be above inflation and based on performance.
- Service Charge - A minimum 10% service charge (optional) is included in every bill and will be shared equally amongst the team based on hours worked.
- Tips – Any additional tips are shared equally amongst the team.
- Part time Hours – 12 – 20 hours. Thursday – Sunday. Saturdays are a must with some potential for extra hours during Private Hire events/Corporate parties/Restaurant week etc. Minimum 10 hours, maximum 25.
- Travel - Contribution towards a taxi home for evening shift workers.
- A closely ran team with full role support available as and where necessary by the management team and owner.
- Wages paid by bank transfer, on a fortnightly basis. Tips and service charge paid monthly.
Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour + Gratuity – Hourly rate increasing following completion of probationary period (based on performance) We aim to complete onboarding within your first 3 months of employment.

About us
Fully refurbished interior designed 120 cover prime city centre location venue. A relaxed food led operation, with a late licence permitting a mainly seated drinks only focus later in the evening. The venue will also be available for special events, baby showers, birthdays, milestone birthdays etc.

The Focus
- Serving food & drinks from 12pm – late Thursday-Sunday.
- The food and cocktail menu consists of culinary creations, homemade delicacies, and twists on British classics.
- Aimed at those customers who are looking for quality food and drink whilst being surrounded by a chic and unique decor.
The Ideal Candidate will have the following:
- Have a fun and friendly personality with a professional approach to work.
- High standards in hygiene, and cleanliness.
- Live close to Newcastle city centre, or have regular use of a car.
- A strong work ethic and able to work well as part of a team.
- Experienced in working in a fast paced and fun environment.
Interviews
Interviews will be taking place immediately with a view to employing a successful candidate as soon as possible.
We will obviously respect an employers notice period, although we are looking to have the additional team members in place as soon as possible so we would kindly ask that you don't apply if your notice period is longer than 1 month.
