Position: Self-Employed Delivery Driver

Introduction: We are seeking reliable and motivated self-employed delivery drivers to join our team. As a self-employed contractor, you will be responsible for managing your own delivery schedule and providing exceptional service to our customers. Responsibilities:
Package Pickup and Delivery: Safely and efficiently pick up packages from designated locations and ensure their timely delivery to customers' specified destinations.
Route Planning: Plan your delivery routes effectively to maximize efficiency and minimize time spent on the road.
Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure that your delivery vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and in good working condition at all times.
Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service by handling packages with care, addressing customer inquiries or concerns, and maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately maintain delivery logs, records, and any other necessary documentation required for accounting or administrative purposes.
Time Management: Manage your time effectively to meet delivery deadlines and handle multiple deliveries efficiently.
Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with the company's dispatch team, promptly reporting any delays, issues, or changes in delivery status.
Safety: Adhere to all traffic laws, follow safe driving practices, and prioritize the safety of yourself, other drivers, and pedestrians.
Requirements:
Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license, appropriate for the type of vehicle you will be using for deliveries.
Reliable Vehicle: Own or have access to a reliable and well-maintained van suitable for delivering packages.
Insurance: Maintain valid auto insurance coverage for the vehicle used for deliveries. MUST include Carriage of Goods for Hire and Reward.
Physical Fitness: Possess the physical fitness and stamina required to load and unload packages of varying weights throughout the day.
Time Management Skills: Demonstrate excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Customer Service Skills: Display exceptional customer service skills, including effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
Dependability: Exhibit reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility towards meeting delivery deadlines.
Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable to changing delivery routes, traffic conditions, and customer requirements.
GPS and Technology Proficiency: Comfortably use GPS navigation systems and possess basic smartphone and technology skills necessary for communication and tracking deliveries.
Note: As a self-employed delivery driver, you will be responsible for your own taxes, vehicle maintenance, and other expenses related to your delivery services. VAT flat rate is recommended for maximum earning potential.
