Job description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Workshop Driver/Fitter to join our existing team based in our Honiton site. This is a full-time permanent role, 45hrs per week Monday to Friday with the opportunity of over time / weekend work which is paid at time and a half. In this role you will be required to assist the HGV mechanics in their duties by performing maintenance related driving duties, perform light maintenance tasks, and maintain the cleanliness of the workshop and company vehicles.
To apply for the role of Workshop Driver/Fitter you must have a C&E driving licence. Previous experience of working in a LGV workshop environment and a suitable qualification in LGV mechanics would be desirable but not essential. A good work attitude along with good housekeeping is a must. Due to the hazards of working in such environments we have a strict safety policy so you need to be the sort of person who will contribute to our safety culture.
