FB The Wholesaler delivers fresh food products to a variety of settings including schools, restaurants and care homes. Due to expansion a multi-drop delivery driver is required to join the team
Job description
At FB The Wholesaler we require a delivery driver to:
- Check your vehicle is loaded correctly
- Plan the route to make sure that deliveries are made on time
- Unload goods at the right addresses
- Leave invoices when you deliver
- Take payment for goods and ensure invoice is signed paid
- Record mileage and the fuel that you buy
- Return undelivered items to the warehouse and note any credits required
- Take responsibility for the van, reporting any problems or damage
The personal skills that are required for the job:
- Having a friendly and engaging personality.
- Comfortable working with members of the public.
- A confident manner.
- Must be helpful and polite.
- Drivers should be physically fit as they may be required to lift large amounts of stock.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Should be of a smart appearance and articulate.
- Have a good level of numeracy and English literacy skills with the ability to read and complete record sheets and paperwork accurately.
Early starts, 5 days a week, must work Saturday
