We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities for HGV Class 2 Day Drivers (or Cat C Drivers as we sometimes call them) to join our growing Carlisle depot.

What You’ll Do:
Our Carlisle Depot works slightly different to most of our other depots where our Class 2 drivers typically delivery to one delivery unit and 6-10 Solus drops per shift, this is dropping bulk parcels off in parcel sacks to couriers at their home address for them to sort and then delivery.
Carlisle has the largest solus courier network in EVRI due to the lake district and rural southwest Scotland, so go that extra mile to service all our next day parcels to our Clients, Couriers and customers.
We know the great British roads and weather don’t always play nicely, so you’ll need to keep us updated with any problems. We can then help find an alternative route.
Carlisle depot covers routes as far as: Ulverston, Selkirk, Stranraer, Ayr, Dumfries, and Workington.
Our full-time drivers usually start at either 03.00am or 06.00am. All rotas and planned and allocated in advance so you always know when your working and what routes you are planned for. All shifts are a minimum of eight hours long.
Essential Skills & Experience Required:
- You’ll need a full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 (Cat C) entitlements, driver's CPC and digital tachograph. Newly-qualified drivers are welcome, however all drivers will need to undertake a short driving assessment.
